Roham Shaikhani :

Roham Shaikhani (performer, Berkeley, Calif.): is proud to be part of this workshop presenting Carla Harryman's Mirror Play. He was also part of the San Francisco workshop staging Harryman's Performing Objects Stationed In The Sub-World, in S.F. 2002-03, Roham is a poet, playwright, and actor in two languages. His Sexocialist Manifesto was performed and published in 2002 as part of SHELLAC annual anthology. His Image Is Every Thing was directed by Jim Cave in 1994. As an actor he has performed in variety of plays ranging from Absurdist Beckett, to experimental theatre, as well as traditional Persian plays. Roham gives his entire emotion, body and soul, during the performance; therefore the out come of his effort must be treated as an original work of art. But, since he himself is not original (just an average citizen) he should be treated with complete disrespect.
