Walonda J. Lewis (performer, Detroit, Mich.): a theatre major and B.F.A. candidate, participated in 10 Wayne State University productions.  She toured with Kitchen Prayers to Istanbul, Turkey and Santa Barbara, California and performed in Carla Harryman's Performing Objects Stationed in the Sub World at The LAB in San Francisco.  She was also seen in various theatres in the metropolitan Detroit area:  .  Planet Ant's Comedy of Errors, Second City's alternative show Reparation H, a University of Michigan, True Blood theatre production of Kitchen Prayers, the Jewish Ensemble Theatre's Denial, 74 Georgia Avenue and The Last Yankee.  Walonda enjoyed providing support on the wig crew of Michigan Opera Theatre's world premier of Margaret Garner.  To reunite with Carla Harryman, Detroit artists and fellow performing objects from San Francisco is remarkable treasure, creating yet another transformatory learning experience.
